Pycnenthemum teniufolium - Narrow-leaf Mountain mint

$6.50

A native mountain mint that creates nice clusters rather than spreading through the border. This well-behaved beauty is a lovely textural plant, which can be used almost like an ornamental grass. It’s fragrant leaves can be used in tea, or enjoyed as garden aromatherapy on your fingertips as you walk by, and keep all the deer and rabbits at bay.

Silver button flowers with tiny lilac polka dots appear in mid-summer, and pollinators of every description flock to them.

Sun or part-shade, adaptable to different soil types. Visit it in our Wild Garden.

May flop in too much shade or moisture, but can be supported by fellow shade lovers (Actaea and Porteranthus are favorite partners).

Deep 5” pot.
